Wow. Its kind of crazy to be saying this, but in less than 10 days I'll be Maastricht bound, via a plane to Frankfurt then Amsterdam! Since packing up and moving out of my place in Vancouver, I've kind of slowly and surely been thinking of how to fit my life into 2 suitcases for the next 7 months. [If there is any miracle advise on how to fit a pair of Petries and a Samshield into a suitcase along with 2 seasons worth of clothes, please, tell me].
I'm going to get to Maastricht with about 2 weeks to spare before classes start, so I'm hoping to be able to fit in both a bit of traveling (maybe Dublin or London?) and a visit to the World Cup Qualifier at Jumping Amsterdam the end of January. Besides trying to figure out what exactly to take, where exactly to go and how long I'm actually going to be there, there's trying to see everyone around Calgary before I get on that plane for the next half year!
I'll keep everyone posted once I get to Maastricht, and let you know where my travels are heading.
In the meantime, trying to survive the cold of Alberta is a priority.
